Seaton Sluice

05 August 2018

The sea and weather conditions could not have been better for a jaunt down the coast to Seaton Sluice. We managed to launch Bebside and Crofton just before the ‘Blyth Transformer’ left harbour and what a view it was from just across the bay.

A quick scout around the boats once inside Seaton Sluice harbour had us laid up on the slipway at the entrance as we made hasty tracks to the Kings Arms for a well earned pint. Once refuelled it was back to the slipway to cajole the skiffs into the ever decreasing tide and make the wind assisted journey home. A fantastic days row which will no doubt be repeated in the future!
